Below we have listed some of the most frequently answered questions and answers to assist you make the right decision. FAQ1. What type of phone do I need? A. To trade remotely using the MetaTrader4 Mobile (our preferred software) you will need a mobile/cell phone that supports Windows Mobile 6.0 software or higher. Blackberry does not support Windows Mobile. If you live outside Australia please call your nearest LTG GoldRock Member Support office for further information. 2. Why get your phone directly from us? A. If you live in Australia or USA our consultants will personalise a handset and data plan to suit your requirements along with providing the correct mobile software preinstalled on the phone. All delivered to your door step. How cool is that! Each handset comes with an LTG GoldRock “Quick Start” guide sheet to ensure you get up and trading within minutes. So don’t go running to your local phone shop and speaking to a sales person who knows very little about your actual requirements and the importance of what you are embarking upon. How much download per month will I use on my phone? A. Your download will vary depending on your personal usage and how often and long you are connected to the internet. Many providers allow you to monitor your usage. 4. I already have a Windows based phone and plan. What do I do? A. Ensure the Windows Mobile software on your phone is 6.0 or higher. You will need to check with your current provider to ensure you have internet access and the speed they can offer you is acceptable. Up to 3 Mbps is a recommendation. Speed will vary from providers so please ensure you are using a major provider. If sufficient speed is obtainable with your existing provider and you have a suitable data plan. If you are an existing Halifax/GAIN Capital customer and you have either received the phone with the software pre-installed or you have installed it yourself from the Halifax/GAIN Capital downloads you don't need to purchase or enter a license key. The software is FREE. *Please note you can ONLY trade on Halifax/GAIN Capital trade server. If you are NOT a Halifax/GAIN Capital client please call our Member Support Team for further instruction. 8. Can I access the trading room using my mobile/cell or iPhone? A. No... You cannot access the trading room via your mobile/cell or iPhone. After receiving a Trade Text Alert your mobile/cell or iPhone phone will hold the trading platform software for you to access your trading account and execute trades.
